El niño mago nació en un tren de Manchester a Londres. En 1990, el convoy en el que viajaba una joven profesora de 25 años se quedó parado durante horas, y ésta aprovechó la espera para garabatear el esqueleto de una historia generacional. El argumento de Potter se iría gestando con el tiempo.

Un año más tarde, Joanne K. Rowling, graduada en Francés y Filología Clásica, se trasladó a Oporto para enseñar inglés. La escritora se casó con un periodista portugués y juntos tuvieron una hija, pero el compromiso no duró demasiado. En 1993, la escritora regresó a Gran Bretaña. Se instaló en un apartamento de una sola habitación, y empezó a trabajar como profesora de francés. En sus ratos libres, y mientras su hija dormía, escribía en los cafés. Era su forma de «sobrevivir» al tedio de su vida en Edimburgo, ha reconocido en alguna ocasión. Así fue como dio forma a su primera novela, «Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal».

Volumen en mano, se puso en contacto con varios agentes, y Christopher Little se interesó por ella. Tras varios rechazos, el 30 de junio de 1997 el pequeño mago aterrizó en las librerías británicas. Entonces era imposible imaginar la dimensión del fenómeno Potter, y lo sorprendente de la noticia era que una madre soltera había vendido su primer libro por unos 125.000 euros en Estados Unidos. Bloomsbury lo publicó en Gran Bretaña, y la plataforma educativa Scholastic al otro lado del Atlántico.

Durante los siguientes años, Rowling estrenó prácticamente un libro cada verano, hasta que en 2007 «Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la muerte» cerró la saga de un niño que ya era hombre y había crecido a la par que sus lectores.

 

El oscar 2012

Muchos estamos descontentos con las Nominaciones a los Oscar, pero siempre han sido injustos, y mas que odian la saga mas grande de esta década, pero hay que reconocer el Gran Trabajo de los encargados en las 3 prestigiosas categorías que ha sido nominados, al ser nominados por entre muchísimas Grandes películas ya Hp7.2 es ganador a Arte, Maquillaje y Efectos. Mi mas merecidas felicitaciones, porque fue un largo y desesperado proceso! Y muchos Éxitos a la saga para llevarnos las 3 estatuillas el próximo 26 de febrero! Recuerden que muchos premios y críticos consideraron a Alan Rickman y Hp7.2 como el actor y la película mejor de 2011! Feliz Noche! Nos vemos el Domingo!

Se ha revelado el día de hoy una nueva imagen oficial de la segunda parte de Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte, en la que vemos a Harry con la varita de Draco Malfoy en la mano, de pie en un puente sostenido por cadenas en lo que parece ser la Torre de Astronomía o la Torre del Reloj (parece ser el mismo logar donde Lord Voldemort pregunta a Harry “¿por qué vives?”):
